2nd Annual Post Tax Season Shredding Event

cfo shreddingJoin Concierge Financial Organization for a free post tax season document shredding event on Saturday, April 18. Concierge Financial Organization is partnering with the Louise Graham Regeneration Center to securely destroy your documents. Bring a donation of canned goods for use by the St. Petersburg Free Clinic in order to take advantage of this service.

The Louise Graham Regeneration Center provides document shredding services to many organizations across our region, including the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department and the IRS.  In addition to the services offered, the center’s primary mission is to provide opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to maximize their independence through the provision of quality life skills training, paid employment and participation in the community at large.

This is not only an opportunity to have your documents shredded but to help support the Louise Graham Regeneration Center and St. Petersburg Free Clinic.

*We’re sorry, but commercial shredding will not be accepted at this event, however, monthly on-site pick-up services are available through the Louise Graham Regeneration Center separately.

 


Horses and Therapy with Saddle Up

barnAre you looking for somewhere to go with your child this weekend? Pinellas Park has a wonderful place called Saddle Up Riding Club, Inc. It is located at 9301 62nd Street in Pinellas Park, FL. The phone number is 727.520.3132. This is a place you can go to learn about horse and have fun riding them. They offer lessons on the weekend. Check out there levels of classes. It’s called Barn Time for Kids. They also have birthday parties at the farm for kids. Kids with disabilities are welcome to enjoy the fun.

Fun events for children with special needs

I saw this article and had to post. It has some different events that take place in Southwest Florida for kids with special needs. Check it out.

The Fort Myers Miracle and the Dave Clark Foundation will hold their 10th annualSpecial Needs Baseball camp in April. The Miracle team and coaches teach the kids a variety of baseball skills like hitting, throwing, catching and fielding as well as playing baseball games with them. The event, which includes lunch, is open to children up to age 18 and is free to participants and their families. and I also thought this was interesting. I know the Surfers for Autism events take place all over Florida.
